“The CPA Mortgage Guy” has been a CPA since 2015. For taxes, he specializes in tax strategy for real estate agents and investors. He loves to help people understand the power that real estate has in creating wealth throughout his clients’ lives, from making the decision of renting and owning their first home all the way through utilizing their real estate assets in retirement.
He regularly teaches continuing education courses to real estate agents, financial advisors, and tax professionals. He particularly loves the vastly misunderstood reverse mortgage and has specialized strategies which incorporate them into financial planning to save tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes.
Dan is the co-author of two best-selling books: Real Decisions: The Financial Impact of Renting and Owning and Reverse Mortgages: The Financial Ugly Duckling.
